What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate Marketing is when one web site (the affiliate) promotes another web site's products or services (the merchant) in exchange for a commission.

Affiliate Marketing is a revolutionary method for driving profits through revenue sharing relationships between online merchants and content sites. Affiliate Marketing pushes products and services out to the consumer on virtual shelf space across the Web, creating more opportunities for merchants to generate sales, for affiliates to earn revenue from their sites, and for consumers to find the products and services they want on the Web.

Through Affiliate Marketing, merchants can place their advertising banners and links on content sites worldwide and only pay a commission when those links generate a sale or qualified lead. Affiliated content sites can easily convert their online content into e-commerce by populating it with these revenue-generating links.

How It Works
With Affiliate Marketing, a merchant recruits content sites to partner with them as affiliates in exchange for commissions. The merchant provides their advertising banners and links to their affiliates and assigns a commission for each click-through to their site, subscription to their service (a lead), or purchase of their products that is generated from the links. Affiliates place the tracking code for these ads into their Web pages. Whenever a visitor to the affiliate's site uses these links to generate a click-through, lead, or sale for the merchant, that transaction is tracked online. If a product or service is purchased, the customer pays the merchant directly, and the affiliate is paid a commission for that transaction.

Why would I sign up as an affiliate 

Affiliate programs are an easy way to make extra money. All you do is place special links on your site to items in our store. When someone comes to our site and buys something after clicking a link on your site, you get 20% of the selling price. In addition, we pay 5% for secondary affiliates (2nd tier)

Did you say 20%?

Yes, you get 20% of the net purchase amount for anyone who buys things from our site after visiting yours.  Amazon gives 15% for the first item but only 5% for everything else in the order and only 5% on most items. We can offer this high commission since we maintain a very low overhead. In addition, we believe that your success would mean a win-win relationship for both of us.

What is a secondary affiliate?

We encourage you to spread the word and recruit other affiliate web sites. Any affiliates that you recruit, you earn an additional 25% based on their commissions.

Example, you sign-up as an affiliate. Any customers that purchase through your site you get 20% referral fee. You recruit another web site to sign-up as an affiliate. A customer buys $200.00 worth of merchandise. The recruited web site gets $40.00 in referrals and in addition you get $10.00.

Do I have any obligation to the customer?

No. Once the customer clicks on the link and orders from us, we take care of the rest. Everything from customer support, shipping, etc.  No invoices, inventory, collections, and shipping to worry about.

When  and how do I get paid?

Payments are sent monthly through PayPal. Most affiliate programs only send your commissions quarterly or after a minimum of $50.00. We believe in getting your commissions to you as soon as you earn them. Customer purchases average at $100 at a time. This means you potentially could make $20.00 per customer referral that leads to a sale.

How do you track my customer referrals?

Tracking of customers is done by using a cookie which is handed to the customer them at the time they click through from the affiliate. The cookie lasts for 7 days. This means that we credit you with a customer purchase even if he/she goes back directly to our site at a later time. Most other affiliate programs only credit you with a sale only if a referred customer immediately purchases an item (called a session cookie).
